Advertising and browser storage

Advertising is not enabled in this version of Houseplant Field Guide. The pages do not include advertising or analytics scripts, and do not themselves set cookies or use browser storage. This does not rule out cookies used by the hosting service.

Hosting and security

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Some Cloudflare security features use cookies when they are active, for example when checking automated traffic. Which cookies are used depends on the features enabled and the requests being handled. Cloudflare explains these in its cookie documentation.

External services

The pages request typefaces from Google Fonts. More information about that connection is in the Privacy Policy. Links to other websites lead to services with their own cookie policies.

Managing cookies

You can inspect, block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies needed by a hosting security check may affect access to the site.

Future changes

If advertising or other optional tracking is introduced, this information and any required consent controls will need to be updated before those services are enabled.
